The Weston Centre is available for hire when not in use for charity activities and events.
We welcome both one off and regular hire enquiries but please bear in mind the Centre is used for our own charitable aims weekday mornings and and at variable times during the week, please note we do not allow teenage parties.
We currently have availability for Monday regular hire after 4.30pm into the evening, along with weekend evenings.
It is a well-appointed single storey building located in the middle of Duffield close to the A6 and bus stops. There is free parking for the duration of the hire period in our designated spaces to the side of the Weston Centre building. Other spaces in the Viceroy restaurant carpark can be used free of charge until 4.00pm (please check this on your arrival as it is subject to change).
The Centre is wheelchair accessible. We have aids including a walker kept in the foyer and a folding wheelchair that is kept in the clinic, to help people from their vehicle into the centre. Both toilets are wheelchair-accessible, and one is fitted with a baby nappy-changing station.
There is a digital projector, screen, TV, DVD player, audio system and hearing loop. There are plenty of chairs and tables that can be used or stored away to suit your purposes.
We have a large kitchen with two hatches into the main hall, two ovens, two hobs, a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettles, cutlery, crockery and glassware.
The Centre has a licence to seat 60 people and standing for 100. The hall is fitted with Vent-Axia fans, a CO2 monitor and large sliding doors to the outside to ensure good ventilation.
We have a licence for the serving of alcohol at our own events. Hirers wishing to do so need to apply to Amber Valley Borough Council for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN).

Current pricing is £16 per hour for sole use of the centre and the facilities, however long term hire can be negotiated depending on frequency and day.
